Nano-electronic materials, devices, and DSP: MOCVD; C-CVD for CNTs; Multi-junction, high efficiency solar cells for concentrator photovoltaics power; PVT systems; energy storage; GaN power electronics, RF, and lighting devices; quantum well and quantum dot devices; CNTs for sensors; integrated micro-systems; DSP to enable autonomous robots.

Nano-materials: Compressed earth blocks (CEBs), bulk production of CNTs; nano-composites and wood substitutes; smart materials; nano-fluidics; MEMS and NEMS.

Nano-medicine: Drug delivery and tissue regeneration; biosensors; medical devices.
